Motley Crue w/ Joe Perry Project & Airbourne
Posted by JRPhotography on January 27, 2010
Motley Crue @ The Saddledome Jan 26/10.
This would be my second time seeing Airbourne and find there show very entertaining. The guys came out and played a strong 40 minute set. Was surpirsed the limited number of people who showed up early to see them.
Joe Perry Projct was second on the bill and was quite disappointed with the act. Joe is a great guitar player but I suggest he stick to that side of music. I found the show to be somewhat unorganised and the lead singer seemed out of place. I know they are fairly new but I would rather have seen Aerosmith.
Motley Crue were great. i saw them a couple years ago with CrueFest and was pissed that it was a seated floor. This time there was a GA floor section right at the front and I took full advantage of it. I guessing that the Crue have a routine set that they play because it was quite similair to their last show. Overall a well played show and would catch them again.
Custom Picks,
Airbourne: Dunlops
Joe Perry: Yes (Dunlops ??)
Motley Crue: Dunlops
Note: You want to be near Nikki Sixx for your best chance at a pick!

Guns n’ Roses w/ Sebatian Bach & Danko Jones
Posted by JRPhotography on January 17, 2010
Guns n’ Roses @ The Saddledome Jan 16/10.
So I missed Danko Jones completely once again getting lost in the beer… also due to the fact that as soon as Sebatian Bach set was over no more booze was to be served???
I caught 2 or 3 songs of Sebatian Bach and wasn’t disappointed in missing any of his set. I find it funny when a band like the one backing Bach has members that look like they just came out of junior high good on yeah for getting out there but come on I’m sure there are many other bands in your own age catigory.
G n’ R or should I say Axle Rose, was much better than the 2006 show I saw. I Think DJ Ashba is a great addition for this band and has the a great stage presence like Slash. The Axle show once again went from 10pm till 1am which is amazing and the set consisted of any song you could want to hear.
Custom picks,
Danko Jones: ?
Sabatian Bach: ?
Guns N’ Roses: Dunlop customs
Note: No place like the Floor!
